Cardiac resynchronization therapy is an option in patients with advanced congestive heart failure. Left ventricle lead implantation into place with latest mechanical activation is important for clinical success. Surgical implantation is a good choice in case of coronary sinus lead insertion failure. We demonstrate review of mini-invasive surgical left-ventricular lead implantation methods. We also present our group of 34 patients who underwent implantation through mini-thoracotomy access.
