Clinical manifestation of lithium intoxication following contrast medium injection during selective coronary arteriography

Our case report describes a clinical manifestation of chronic lithium intoxication in a female patient undergoing elective coronary arteriography after myocardial infarction. It shows that even a relatively safe examination, which coronary
arteriography is, can lead to a life-threatening state under certain adverse conditions.
