Rok 2021 byl z pohledu srdečního selhání a kardiomyopatií rokem velmi významným. Byla zveřejněna nová definice a klasifikace srdečního selhání a publikace nových Doporučení pro diagnostiku a léčbu srdečního selhání Evropské kardiologické společnosti 2021.
