Treatment of multiple post-infarction monomorphic sustained ventricular tachycardia by catheter ablation without ICD implantation-when is it possible?

This case report presents a patient with previous myocardial infarction, in whom a complex arrhythmogenic substrate in the left ventricle associated with multiple tachycardia morphologies was treated by catheter ablation without ICD implantation. Clinical and electrophysiological factors leading to the decision to leave the patient without an ICD are discussed.
