The case report describes successful surgical management-using the Vossschulte procedure-of a descending aorta (DA) aneurysm developing after surgical correction of childhood coarctation of the aorta. A part of the DA was replaced by a prosthesis. The spinal cord and abdominal cavity organs were protected using femoro-femoral extracorporeal circulation. The postoperative course was absolutely uneventful, and the patient was discharged, in good condition, on postoperative day 9 to receive home care.
