Initial experience with transmyocardial laser revascularization using the CO₂ LUXCOR 500/800 laser device

The aim of the study is to present initial experience with transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMLR) using the LUXCOR 500/800, a new CO₂ laser device. Our initial experience is based on surgery performed in 13 patients. TMLR resulted in a reduction in angina pectoris in almost all patients. The actual procedure is simple, led to no postoperative complications, and there were no deaths.
